I began my cosmetology career, fresh out of school as a hair assistant in the mid eighties. There I learned all aspects of the business and I was inspired by my ability to discover hidden beauty in my clients. This is when I realized that my passion is the pursuit of personal beauty and style. Thus began my dream of opening a day spa.

Bodies and Faces Day Spa opened its doors on October 1, 1988. The spa consisted of 2 manicure tables, 1 pedicure chair and 1 facial bed. I continued working as a hair stylist as I established myself as an esthetician. I dedicated my career, to learning the latest international skin and body therapies.

I became an innovator in the Spa field traveling and learning as much as I could and invested in the latest technology and finest equipment. Bodies and Faces began to flourish and I found myself needing a larger space to accommodate our growing cliental and list of new services.

After 18 years of hard work, innovation and perseverance I was able to realize my dream of opening a 4,000 sq ft full service Day Spa. Our 80 Elmora Avenue location is a life’s long dream come true and will continue to be a place where all who visit discover personal beauty and style.
